WHY IS THIS MAN SMILING

Because the (my) Republicans just caved (yet again) on principle. Not only that, they now have a majority of the American thinking that it is Democrats and President Obama who are the tax cutters.

Lincoln was right about fooling some of the people all of the time, but what' s the excuse for the rest of you?

Republicans say that the payroll tax cut (if they called it by its real name - Social Security tax cut more people would be upset). will help deplete the Social Security trust fund that already is facing banktrupcy. 

NONSENSE.

         A.The trust fund has been empty since Lyndon Johnson reided it - oops. raided it to pay for guns AND butter during his Vietnam War. 

        B. All Social Security (FICA), Medicare, and Income Taxes are lumped into one big pot, and used to augment our deficit spending. (think about it).

        C. Ergo, a cut in the "payroll tax" really is a cut in the general tax and that is good. PLEASE KEEP THIS TO YOURSELF 

While the very core of my campaign rails against pertisan politics, allowing Thr President and Ol' Harry to perform a makeover as tax cutters is pretty darn stupid.
